GEMS After-School

Our GEMS After-School Program is for girls in 5th and 6th grade to receive support with their social-emotional health, gain life-changing tools, and explore critical topics, together.

Enrollment is OPEN for Session 1!

Mondays, 9/9 - 11/4
9 Lessons
2:45 pm - 4:30 pm
Ada W. Harris Elementary School

Each Lesson includes:

A dynamic game, a teaching component where the girls will learn empowering tools, partner and group discussions, walking laps, guided mindfulness, and a creative project to bring our concepts together in a hands on way!

Topics we’ll explore:

  1. Self Love

  2. Positive Self Talk

  3. Self Care: Filling Up Your Cup

  4. Exploring Uncomfortable Emotions

  5. Overcoming Comparison

  6. Body Image: Accepting Yourself

  7. Building New Friendships

  8. Healthy Communication

  9. Focusing On Your Joy

We will wrap up the Session with a Vision Boarding Party. We will also have one Excursion / Field Trip mid-way through the Session on a weekend afternoon to get the girls together to move their bodies, enjoy a fun snack/treat, and bond all together.

Includes: 9 Lessons/Meetings + 1 Excursion/Field Trip
